The Altar The altar table at the center of the Chapel is venerated with a deep and reverent bow and a gentle kiss. All visitors to the Chapel are invited to make these gestures with respect. Fashioned of different woods, the circular altar table is a reflection of Christ who has no beginning and no end. Relics are kept in a drawer in the mensa of the altar table. Father Richard S.
